Header tags are nothing but headings in your post. If you see the HTML code of your post then you would find something like below-
<h1> Your post title</h1>
<h2> Main heading </h2>
<h3> Sub heading </h3>
HTML header tags are used to differentiate the headings (h1) and sub-headings (h2-h6) of a page from the rest of the content.
HTML has six different heading tags – h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 and h6
The most important heading tag is the h1 tag and least important is the h6 tag.

<h2>This is heading 2</h2>
<h3>This is heading 3</h3>
<h4>This is heading 4</h4>
<h5>This is heading 5</h5>
<h6>This is heading 6</h6>
H1 Tag:
- The H1 is a HTML tag that indicates a heading in website
- H1’s are usually the most visually notable content on the page
- Use only one H1 tag
- The H1 should be from 20-70 characters
- Use a focused long tail keywords in your H1
- Answer user intent with H1 tag
